The newest US Mint coin sales numbers are always added on Coin Sales Figures throughout the week. The following four articles, however, provide insights and analysis of the sales.

Lincoln, Braille & UHR Sales Figures

Mint Sales Figures ImageUltra High Relief (UHR) $20 gold coin sales were near identical to those reported last week, based on the latest round of US Mint sales figures. Another 1,300 have been sold, bringing the new total to 58,318.

In a surprise, Louis Braille Silver Dollars broke a declining trend that had become the norm over the last several weeks. While sales increases were held to around 12% in the prior week, proof Braille’s jumped to 20 percent. The uncirculated options climbed to 16 percent. In total, 93,166 Braille commemorative silver coins have been sold.

First Spouse Coin Sales Figures

First Spouse Coin Sales Figures First Spouse Gold Coin sales returned to a more normalized flow after last week’s report showed negative 0.9 percent to 2.5 percent declines across all but the Anna Harrison coins.

The latest US Mint sales report has Anna’s jumping slightly over 4 percent while the still for sale 2008-dated spouse coins crept up between 0.7 percent and 1.6 percent…

US Silver Coin Commemorative Sales

Sales Stats imageInterest in Braille Bicentennial Silver Dollars picked up over the prior sales stats, but demand for other silver coins and sets waned for the third straight week, according to the newest United States Mint sales figures.

Braille Silver Dollar sales surged, jumping to 19.8 percent for the proof option versus the prior 12.6 percent. From a pure numbers standpoint, 9,389 more were sold to bring the proof total up to 56,794. The uncirculated Braille options performed better as well, with their total sales now at 36,372…
