2011 America the Beautiful Quarters Proof Set Tops Sales Figures

The newest United States Mint product, the 2011 America the Beautiful Quarters Proof Set, appeared at the top recent coin sales figures reveal.

The America the Beautiful Quarters Proof Set debuted earlier than last year and it did not start quite as strong. Collectors picked up 53,944 in the first four days compared to 73,756 in 2010.

The second biggest numismatic seller was the 2011 Silver Proof Set with a jump of 25,940. The 2011 Proof Set followed close behind with 21,581.

Bullion Silver Eagles added another 652,500 during the week. Annual sales ended up at 11,731,500.
